As a maritime consultant I am passionate about taking on the most challenging maritime projects world-wide. My aim is always to maximize safety and optimize efficiency, both during construction and operations.In my working experience, for example at EGA/GAC, when developing our bauxite export facilities, the remote locations posed challenges in construction logistics and health and safety. Other exciting projects include the project management for the Sohar Bulk Jetty, designed for the 450,000 dwt Valemax bulk carriers or the Simandou competitive FEED, optimizing the design for one of the bidding contractors. As a consultant I have also hands-on operational experience and managed cargo operations when loading several bauxite vessels and discharging many general cargo vessels.Royal HaskoningDHV is a leading engineering and consultancy firm providing quality advice on coastal and maritime developments. We have one of the largest professional resource base with 650 maritime staff, working in a truly connected environment. Understanding our client’s business is key in ensuring their projects will become competitive. Our advanced engineering tools and Smart Port innovative solutions will contribute to reducing resources both in development stages as well as operational stages. My area of expertise is broad, ranging from port planning and feasibility to construction and implementation. I have successfully dealt with HSE, engineering, financial and legal/regulatory aspects within projects. The majority of my past projects include cargoes like dry bulk, containers or LNG.
