Prioritize and assign work tasks to maintenance crew. Monitor progress of work assignments and quality of work performed. Provide on-site work supervision. Assess yearly park infrastructure needs, develop and propose strategies of implementation within yearly budget allowance. Research, evaluate and implement new installation and/or repair of infrastructure including roads, parking lots, picnic areas, buildings, rental facilities and miscellaneous utilities. Repair, maintain and install all types of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, signage, equipment, materials, roofing, building infrastructure and basic mechanical systems.

Perform daily maintenance routines, such as, cleaning restrooms, cleaning and maintaining public areas, collecting and disposing of trash and recycled waste, and safety checks of park amenities including trails, pools, picnic areas and playgrounds. Repair, maintain and install all types of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, signage, equipment, materials, roofing, building infrastructure and basic mechanical systems. Utilize small and large equipment to carry out maintenance tasks including lawn mowers, weed eaters, backhoes, manlift and skid steer. Participate in the set up and implementation of park special events including concerts, races, holiday celebrations and private parties.

Assist in the day-to-day maintenance of the facilities and properties including mowing, weed eating, fertilizing, weed and insect control, pruning, planting, mulching and watering. Assist in the implementation of projects for the ongoing maintenance and future growth/development of the park.

Provide general maintenance, upkeep and safety of parks and facilities assigned to District II including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning and trash removal.

Maintenance of park amenities in accordance with all safety standards including testing and recording of chlorination level of well water. Maintenance of park landscape including mowing, trimming, back blading of beachfront, trail maintenance and snow removal. Participate in the scheduling, organization, set up and implementation of park special events. Provide on-site supervision of community service workers.
