Core Ambassadors (CAs) are the primary links between the Student Assembly Board of Directors (SABoD) and PT and PTA students in each state. CAs are responsible for implementing strategies and initiatives to promote student engagement. Their goal is to create awareness of advocacy efforts at the state and national levels, and to provide students with opportunities to increase involvement within APTA. CAs communicate and develop student initiatives with their state chapter to enhance the student experience.

As an anatomy lab instructor I participated in teaching the undergraduate human anatomy lab portion of Zoology 2100 at Weber State University. As well as teaching I participated in a weekly advanced human anatomy course. Part of this course was conducting and presenting human dissection. I dissected the spine and peripheral nervous system. I enjoyed my time teaching and helping students understand anatomy. As I concluded my time as a lab instructor I produced, filmed, and edited a video to highlight the advanced anatomy program to help promote this great opportunity at Weber State.

Managing coursework, researching new methods for productive teaching, Canvas and Google software specialist, Coordinating with professors for different academic projects

Training University Ambassadors, planning Ambassador meetings, recruitment for the university within the state and surrounding states (Idaho, Nevada,Wyoming), planning campus events, creating YouTube content for prospective students.

Supporting 30 campus housing residents by providing an atmosphere conducive to quality academic and social experiences. Some our larger events included an outdoor live band and BBQ, six team volleyball tournament, and a night-time pick-up football game.
