Adolfsen Consult was a one person company that offered services within property, concept and business development. Amongst many other jobs Adolfsen Consult helped danish property developer Steen Mengel develop a health based property in the heart of Aarhus, creating an environment within the health industry letting out app. 1500 Sqm. Adolfsen Consult also helped Memira both the danish business as well as the nordic headquarter with concept developing and procurement.

I was initiating the opening of Smarteyes in Denmark, taking the succesful swedish optical chain and introducing it in Denmark. Smarteyes Denmark is value driven company that revolves and who leads their employees around and by the companies 3 values. The company walks the talk, both in terms of everyday communication and through CSR. In that way we have created a company with an extremely strong culture and a strong sense of being part of something special. We opened stores strategically spread out over the country, and have gained a foothold on the danish optical market. On top of this we have successfully introduced Smarteyes on the B2B and contact lens market and digitally lifted Smarteyes so they today have an up to date website that can be used as a solid foundation for a digital marketing strategy.

Chairman Of The BoardAGF Handball is one of the largest handball clubs within the region counting app. 600 members both on junior and senior teams as well as a large staff of coaches. AGF Handball have well organised senior department, with senior teams participating in the danish tournament, as a minimum with both male and female teams in the 2. division. AGF Handball has one of the largest and most skilled junior departments. This is the accomplishment of engaged and dedicated coaches as well as volunteers every year put a lot of hard work into introducing children to handball. Every year AGF Handball holds AGF Handball Cup with as many a 2000 junior handball players participating, which makes it the biggest junior Cup in Aarhus.All together this makes AGF Handball to one of the most attractive and popular handball clubs within the region.

While working as Head of Business Development at Louis Nielsen/Specsavers I were in charge of the continuously expansion of the chain opening app. 30 new stores, the relocation of app. 8 stores and the transformation of more than 30 chain driven stores to franchise driven stores. On top of this I was managing the asset management of all the stores and renegotiating all agreements on the different services to secure that the business were getting the right pricing and simplify the facility services and in that way minimize the workload on HQ. Part of the role as Head of business development were also together with the Head of HR to be in charge of the partner recruitment for the franchise concept. While working their we successfully introduced the two partner strategy in the first store, securing that the stores have strong management competencies both with in optics but also sales.
