• Deployment of the entire Maersk Supply Service fleet• Divestment and acquisition of vessels • Negotiation of frame agreements with clients including oil majors.• Development and approval of procedures involving Commercial activities- 14 vessels divested. Sold to recycling as well as continued trading to buyers in Europe, Asia and Central America.

Separate operations group established for entire Business Unit. Other activities continued as below.- Continued to be engaged in newbulding projects and 10 vessels ordered during this period. Two contracts signed with Chinese and Norwegian yards.- Delivered multi-year bid involving 5 purpose-build vessels. Agreements in place with numerous subcontractors like Norwegian ship designers, Chinese shipyard and suppliers of main components.

• Sales and marketing• Contract negotiations• Operation of vessels located in the abovementioned areas – about 30 vessels.In addition to daily tasks I was also involved in fleet renewal initiatives including negotiations for sale of second hand tonnage and developing the business case and technical specifications for newbuilding projects. - Orders placed for 12 vessels with Chilean and Norwegian shipyards.- New organization established in Canada following termination of cooperation agreement with local partners. Office space leased and local staff hired.

Vessels built by Chilean shipyard to meet Canadian specific requirements.- New organization established in Australia when re-entering this market. Went from single representative to fully staffed office.

• Build up relationships with brokers and charterers• Day-to-day chartering and operations of a fleet of 18 chemical tankers and 5 product tankers• Included voyage fixtures as well as time charter contracts and COA’s. • The vessels were mainly employed in the North European short sea trade.• Financial reporting to the Owners

• Monitoring market for second vessels (primarily offshore vessels and drilling rigs)• Contract negotiations for divestment as well as acquisition of vessels • Completion of handover documentation.
