I’m a network engineer, specialized in enterprise and datacenter network products with over 15 years of experience in operating, designing and troubleshooting large IT networks.Currently I’m specialized in network (security) products with a preference for Juniper, Fortigate and Infoblox. I have a Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering & Design (telematics specialization) and achieved certificates from leading network vendors.I’ve started my career working as an employee at a consultancy/integrator, where I got the chance to develop my skills and excel in projects as a network engineer. From there on I've been working on several projects, where most outstanding projects have been in the TV broadcast sector where the shift to IP networks is major.Specialties: IP Networking, NGFW, Routing/Switching at the enterprise and in the datacenter, DNS and DHCP services on Infoblox and ISC Bind/DHCP, Clock synchronization protocols (PTP and NTP), TV Broadcast networks (SMPTE 2022-6+2110, Dante, Ravenna (AES67)), Wi-Fi, remote (VPN) access, VoIP, and Network Disaggregation.Some examples of my activities:- Firewall migrations (Juniper and Fortigate)- DNS/DHCP projects (Infoblox to/from BIND, NSD, MS (Integrated) DNS)- Enterprise and DC routing/switching projects (Juniper, Arista, Brocade)- Troubleshooting on complex network issues/incidents- Remote working / WFH solutions with client VPNs (Pulse Secure, OpenVPN, Wireguard)- Day-to-day NGFirewall operationsI prefer first contact via e-mail/Linkedin messaging.
