I am a Ph.D. in physics with extensive experience of light-matter interaction in semiconductor micro- and nanostructures. I have worked with design and numerical simulations of semiconductor-based light sources most of my career, lately with particular focus on deterministic quantum-dot-based quantum light sources (single and entangled photon pairs) for applications in scalable quantum information processing. This took so far place in collaboration with internationally leading experimental groups in France, Germany and China, however I am now also starting an in-house experimental activity in this area with fabrication of the sources at DTU. I teach courses on nano optics and quantum optics.
