I worked as Foundation manager and Communications for Closing the Loop (CTL). Closing the Loop strives for a world in which waste is not wasted. We buy broken mobile phones in collaboration with local partners in Africa and Asia, and ensure that the devices are recycled responsibly. CTL also offers organizations the opportunity to offset their mobile phone usage through its unique One for One proposition. For every mobile phone used within the organization, CTL saves one from e-waste dumps, turning negative footprints into positive ones.
