The Young Business Award (YBA) is the largest scale-up competition in the Netherlands. Every year, promising young companies participate in this competition to compete for the title of "Best Young Company in the Netherlands".The Young Business Award program is broadcast annually as a TV season on RTL-Z & Videoland. As a business developer at the NOM, I am responsible for establishing the startup and scale-up program(s) in the Northern Netherlands. We help entrepreneurs validate their business ideas and scale their ventures through a range of programs that include masterclasses and coaching, guiding them step by step from one milestone to the next with a clear focus on consistent growth. In my role as lead coach for these programs, I am responsible for developing the content of these programs and hosting masterclasses. Thereby, I also coach founders in this role in scaling their business and help them connect with investors, stakeholders and relevant persons in our innovation ecosystem.

At Novel-T, I play an integral role in supporting the growth of innovative startups and scale-ups in the East Netherlands region. As Program Manager at Novel-T, I am responsible for the successful managing and overseeing of multiple programs. I work closely with program teams, stakeholders, and partners to ensure successful execution of program goals and objectives. My role includes developing program strategies, creating project plans, and managing budgets and resources to ensure that program goals are met on time and within budget. Additionally, I am responsible for managing and monitoring program performance and providing regular updates to management and stakeholders.

The #HupAssen campaign aimed to bring the Formula 1 to the Northern Netherlands and reached over 9 million people across the Netherlands. The success of the campaign was achieved through extraordinary drive and commitment of the team and support from companys in the Northern Netherlands. As a (digital) marketing professional, I had the privilege of being part of the HupAssen campaign team. My role in the team was to lead the campaign on social media and handle the media relations for national press coverage.Through strategic planning and execution, we were able to create a successful social media campaign that reached millions of people across the Netherlands. Additionally, our efforts in the national press resulted in widespread coverage of the campaign, which ultimately led to increased attention and support for the initiative. Working on this campaign was a truly exciting and challenging experience, and I am proud to have been part of a team that was so passionate and driven to achieve its goals.

At Taxiculinair, we provide a one-of-a-kind experience that combines luxury transportation with high-end culinary experiences in a few clicks.As the founder, I played a role in establishing the startup, validating the business idea, building the concept, marketing campaign and executing the strategy. I have been responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including branding, marketing, finance, and operations.
