🌏 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐞.Bought a one way ticket to Tokyo, Japan without a further plan. From there: started travelling West by bus, on foot, by boat, by plane,by train, on motorbikes, in people's cars... 9 months and 10 countries later I ended up in New Delhi, India. Took the opportunity to give talks at Microsoft India, NUS Singapore, NTU Malaysia and the Imagineering Institute Malaysia on a voluntary basis. Along the way, I also chatted with the most wonderful people from KEIO Unversity Japan, TeamLab Japan, TU Kyoto Japan, YCAM Japan, KAIST Korea, PolyU Hong Kong, TNUA Taiwan, NUS Singapore, Conduent India, IBM India. I will eternally be grateful to all those I met for their kindness and advice to a stranger passing by. 🙏

Succesfully defended my PhD on the design of physical rehabilitation Games for individuals who have suffered a stroke or cope with multiple sclerosis (MS). During the PhD, I contributed to the development of design research methods within international academic contexts and explored the relation between game technology and people with specific needs through human-centered design.
