Novo Nordisk is a Danish healthcare company and a world leader in diabetes care. Key Results: I have formed and developed a team of SMEs into a high-performing entity, capable of accelerating into execution mode with very short notice. The team has handled several upgrades of Novo Nordisk’s IT system for handling of Customer Complaints (novoGloW) and our reputation as a high-power project team has been praised by peers in other CVP areas. In particular, we have implemented functional improvements that save more than 30 minutes of case handling time per day, and ensure to maintain Novo Nordisk’s high level of regulatory compliance. In addition, I have managed several upgrades of Novo Nordisk’s IT system for handling and reporting Adverse Events or Adverse Drug Reactions, delivered significant process improvements like a full transition from paper based to paperless case handling in the Safety Operations area as well as delivered a web-based training site for external stakeholders. I am deeply involved with initiating and running local network groups, planning and executing Novo Nordisk’s annual Global Safety Conference and -Seminars, as well as the business area IT strategy for systems under my project management responsibility.

My privately held company, Sempack ApS, offered tools and creative engineering services and project management to manufacturers of integrated circuits (ICs), radio frequency (RF) products and microelectronics on consultancy basis.Key Results: In Sempack I provided services and solutions for companies such as Alight Technologies A/S, Axcon ApS, IPTronics A/S, Silicide ApS, Thrane & Thrane A/S and Widex A/S.

Noise Limit was a Danish Gazelle-Growth company which designed and manufactured next-generation coolers for computer processors. Key Results: I managed a team which supported Noise Limit’s successful establishment of a robust Far East supply chain enabling low cost and high-quality manufacturing of Noise Limit products close to its customers.I also drove the definition of a Corporate Quality Policy as well as all engineering, quality and verification activities leading from the concept phase to mass production. Subsequently, I created the Noise Limit Quality Management System (QMS) consisting of a Quality Manual and a full set of SOPs and guidelines for QC and manufacturing of Noise Limit’s products in China and Taiwan.

Intel Corporation is the world’s largest manufacturer of microprocessors (CPUs) and other ICs for computing and communications. Key Results: I managed a team that successfully delivered a long range of packaging (encapsulation) solutions for ICs designed in Denmark, Lithuania, Germany, Israel and the US. Our services included technology and supplier selection, package design, performance modeling, lead-free qualification (ROHS) qualification and reliability testing, prototyping and production ramp-up. As course instructor, I delivered training to local employees in “Setting Clear and Mutual Expectations” and “Structured Problem Solving”.

Giga A/S was a Danish Gazelle-Growth company that designed and manufactured application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) for high speed telecommunications. Giga was very successful in this niche market and was acquired by Intel Corporation in early 2000.Key Results: In my role as technical specialist I successfully designed and implemented a wide range of highly specialized, custom made packages (IC encapsulation solutions) for Giga’s products.I also developed the Flexguide® which is a patented interconnect technology that enabled Giga as the first company in the world to bring a full 10 Gbit/s receiver/transmitter chipset to the market as a commercially available product.

Tele Danmark Research (Teleteknisk Forskningslaboratorium) was a Danish research facility owned by TDC (Danish Telecom) and scoped with long term research on mainly optical communications.Key Results: Design and development of software for instrument control of a fully automated measurement system for characterization of multi-electrode lasers. General research on optical communications.
