As a project manager, trainer and consultant with 25+ years of project experience in different branches of industry (finance, retail, local development, tourism and public administration) I can vouch for the practical usefulness of both traditional and agile PPM and change management methods, that I train and use in consultancy. As a trainer I see it as my main objective to combine my personal experience with my rigorous knowledge of these methods, to offer trainees a practical view on how to use its elements on a daily basis in his or her projects. To offer these professional services I teach these courses in English, Italian or Dutch.As a consultant I consider it a personal goal to successfully introduce, implement and embed elements of good project, programme, portfolio and change management, using best practice methods for managing organisational change in every aspect, be it on individual, project or strategic levels of change.I consider the success of these implementations not to be in the rigid application of these best practices, but in the improved organisational agility and implementation of change in these organisations, leading to significantly better results and the actual achievement of strategic organisational objectives.My background as a scholar in organisational sciences provides me with an array of different methods, points of view, theories and lines of thought, out of which I can apply the most useful approaches for analysing the sometimes complex and dynamic context of organisational change management.
