I am CEO of OFF ROAD – a full-service digital marketing agency based in Copenhagen, Denmark. As for my background, I studied Economic Psychology and Advertising Science in the Netherlands for five years before returning to Denmark in 1999. After that, I worked as an entrepreneur in the agency business for many years. At first, I worked as the Business Development Director at Carat (Aegis), which gave me a strong belief in growing businesses through in-depth analysis of business opportunities combined with a team of dedicated people. After six years with Carat, my experience as Managing Director for MTV Networks in Denmark provided me with a drive for combining business with a more entrepreneurial attitude, soon resulting in my employment with Maxus within the global GroupM/WPP network. During the subsequent five years, my task was to establish and build a new media agency in Denmark. Maxus quickly grew and transformed into a full-service media agency and was servicing some of Denmark’s largest advertisers when I left to start my own media agency, OFF ROAD, in 2011.
