Not Harder.-------------------------------As Machine Control Support Manager, I was responsible for the support of all Komatsu intelligent machine control systems in Europe together with my colleagues. We supported our service department when problems arose or supported DB’s with the sales and setup of new machines. Which created a healthy and variable task environment, from setting up jobsites (installing base stations, connecting the machines, preparing 3D drawings…) to calibrating the machines, troubleshooting via remote support or creating manuals and giving trainings…“Was” past tense… or nearly past tense, I’m taking up a new roll within the Komatsu team if not yet in name, already in function, Smart Construction Support Manager. As Smart Construction Support Manager, I’ll support our team with my knowledge regarding site data preparation and 3D data management. In short if it has to do with 3D design data or pointcloud data it will pass across my desk.
