Started out as Advanced Telemetry Products in a partnership with 2 others. Developed my first telemetry based alarm system for private and commercial premises. This was prior to cell phones and was widely accepted in Asia including our biggest customer in Papua New Guinea - securimax. Later sold the business to Jardine/Securicor and lived and worked in Hong Kong, China and Indonesia for 3 years. Other products engineered by myself were a 25 watt UHF transceiver in conjunction with Willis Communications, John Willis was my mentor and learned a lot about RF engineering from him. Also did a telemetry system for the Gold Coast City council monitoring some of their sewerage pump stations for alarms only ( effluent overflow!)
