Having had to take early retirement from Cambridge University Press for health reasons, I am trying to build up some work from home, with the occasional meetings away from home. I have qualified as an Executive Coach and have started to do some of that, which I have enhanced by becoming a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming, which is used by coaches of all sorts. I am a Trustee of the Cambs SEP and am a consultant for Ely Cathedral. Given my experience, I am also keen to do more Business and Management consultancy, in the main from home. I am the manager of Cambridgeshire ProHelp (which is part of Business in the Community), where I organise the giving of time and expertise by professional companies to good causes in Cambridge. In that capacity I also organise Seeing is Believing days in Cambridge as well as activities on Give and Gain Day where I create partnerships between businesses and charities and good causes in Cambridge to do such things as gardening and decorating. I do occasional lecturing at the Judge Business School, Cambridge and at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) on Corporate Social Responsibility; I also do some consultancy in this field. I am a mentor for students on the Publishing and Business Management courses at ARU.
