I started my career in the Military and spent 12 years deployed to various parts of the world, both within operational and peacetime roles. Upon leaving the forces I decided that I wanted to work with people, and to I began working with ex-offenders and those entrenched within the cycle of drugs and crime in a variety of different settings including street homeless, those preparing to leave prison, and out in the community. I managed a number of different services in London for over 10 years and enjoyed working and meeting people from all walks of life. I was also responsible for managing and negotiating contracts, as well as staff and volunteers within the projects. I enjoyed working with people and the diverse aspects that each person had experienced within their lives.After relocating back to Scotland I worked in the logistics field within the oil industry both in an onshore and offshore capacity, overseeing the process of ordering, shipping and storage of drilling materials to various offshore locations both in the North Sea, and Internationally.I recently started work with NorDan, providing support to businesses and residential customers looking to enhance their businesses and homes with market leading windows and doors .
