As a passionate energy and technology professional, I currently volunteer at the SPE Society of Petroleum Engineers, mentoring for the TechFest STEM in the Pipeline and Maths into the Energy Mix programs, and also work as a Software Developer. Holding an MSc in Oil and Gas Management and a BSc in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, I combine technical proficiency with practical experience in petroleum engineering.In my volunteer role, I guide teams in the SPE TechFest STEM in the Pipeline competition and Maths in the Energy Mix, providing advice, support, and monitoring throughout their projects. I encourage teams to apply common sense and consult experts, helping them develop practical and innovative solutions. Participating in the 2023 SPE GeoHackathon sparked my interest in renewable energy technologies and sustainable energy solutions, deepening my dedication to the energy transition.As a software developer, I specialize in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. I troubleshoot and debug code, document development processes, and work with fellow engineers and IT department members to implement new features and enhancements. My academic background has equipped me to address complex challenges in exploration and production planning, equipment design, overseeing drilling operations, reservoir management, maximizing recovery, and ensuring environmental and safety compliance. For example, I analyzed seismic data from the Netherlands to support the energy transition using Python, showcasing my ability to leverage technology for practical applications.My motivation lies in contributing to the energy sector's advancement by integrating traditional petroleum engineering practices with innovative renewable energy solutions.
