Nigel managed the expansion of the consulting and investigations division for Begbies Traynor Group. Begbies Traynor is a leading UK professional services consultancy working alongside businesses, individuals, professional advisors and financial institutions in the area of restructuring and turnaround, corporate and personal insolvency commercial real estate advisory, corporate finance, forensic accountancy, investigations and risk consultancy. The Group has a specialist consulting practice under the advisory brand BTG Consultancy.

While at Kroll, Nigel managed operations in a number of high risk areas including Afghanistan, Iraq and Gaza. He also specialised in resolving hostage situations globally.

While at GardaWorld, Nigel was responsible for all Consulting and Investigations throughout the world (excluding North America and Canada).
