Responsibilities:• Initially based at Z Energy to help on a specific project developing an award calculation engine for Airpoints.• Provided BAU support of batch processing system using shell scripts and SQL*PLUS scripts to interface data into and/or out of JDE, reporting database and third-party systems.• Developer resource on various projects to meet changing business needs.• Technical lead on migrating on-premise 11gR1 to Oracle Cloud (OCI) running 19c multitenant.Achievements:• Used dynamic SQL to build a package to allow bulk inserts into JDE across DB Link that was used by the team.• Developed various solutions using bulk DML that has maintained performance between OCI and on-premise JDE during testing.• Introduced Least Privilege principles during Oracle migration project.• Provided technical guidance to teams that connect to on-premise database that is being migrated to OCI including .NET, Data Warehouse and Business Objects developers.• Created DML for all DB objects that are now under version control in git repository in Oracle's Developer Cloud Service.• Implemented data replication between on-premise and OCI to minimise downtime at cutover as well as address various incompatibilities including versions, endianness, character set, OS (HPUX to Linux).

Responsibilities:• Based at HNZC my initial role was to design/develop KiwiSaver application to streamline business process by adding pdf email/print functionality directly within the application. Once this was completed I helped configure their bespoke Northgate application to satisfy Social Housing Reform 2013 allowing both HNZC and MSD access to different parts of the system.• Based at Transpower I developed enhancements to Market Systems Application in PL/SQL.Achievements:• The time savings achieved by streamlining KiwiSaver were very well received by the users and improved the overall business process.• Developed various scripts to verify the success of manual configurations to Northgate application which were previously attempted by ad hoc manual checks and waiting for incidents to be raised. This proactive approach boosted confidence in the release process.• Helped Transpower project team to be 3 weeks ahead of schedule prior to going on holiday.

This contract at Red Rock was to provide Oracle Developer skills to Housing New Zealand Corporation. This role included developing and maintaining Forms, Reports, PL/SQL modules to HNZC applications. Extracts, data loads and ad hoc queries as and when required also formed part of this role.
