Responsible for the technical design of voice, data and security networks across complex environments

Responsible for management of all 2e2’s corporate network and telecoms infrastructure.

Responsible for the management of both Norsk Data’s network and Norsk Data’s customer networks under SLA. This involved producing well documented design proposals, implementation of LAN and WAN changes to optimise network performance and providing recommendations on network and internet security.

Integral part of a busy team responsible for managing the network infrastructure of this leading corporate ISP. Working in a network operations centre, I monitored and supported various customer networks under SLA. The role primarily involved network maintenance, use of Sniffer, circuit fault diagnosis and network hardware and software configuration. Achieved extensive exposure to Cisco networking equipment, SNMP configuration and complex large scale IP networks. I was also heavily involved with maintaining the Ripe Database.
