Currently involved in using all my skills ,experience and enthusiasm to develop a charity,Voices of Hope ,based in Kingston .I provide support with advice and mentoring of management and staff.The professional,collaborative culture within the charity is extraordinary ,the communities reached and the partnerships being built are growing fast.We have now been going 5 years and from a standing start we are making a real difference particularly to welfare of disadvantaged women ,child food poverty and long Covid sufferers.Latterly I worked as an NED for 13 years on Listed companies in the UK,Sweden and Italy.Using my strong advisory and communication skills,I acted as deputy chairman of the Board and chairman of the Audit and Risk committee of Kindred,a fast growing International technology group listed in Sweden with complex sustainability,regulatory and political challenges.Previously as an NED I had experience in managing downsizing of l Metro newspapers global operations ,overseeing Parmalat and managing fast and successful growth of Rightmove ,the first online Estate agency Portal ,which I joined prior to the flotation on LSE.I have enjoyed the buzz and energy and enthusiasm of digitally disruptive companies where my experience and personality allow me to act as a sounding board .During my career I happily developed my foreign language proficiency,in Italian, german and french to work successfully abroad and across borders.Prior to 2007,I was an advisory partner with KPMG ,based for 4 years in Italy and then in London.
