About Nigel Crompton
Took early retirement after a 20 odd year career in the NHS commencing as a mental health nurse where I worked mainly in crisis services including the implementation of crisis services regionally and nationally but finishing as Head of Service Development for a mental health trust. Now I am the owner of a specialist, independent running in Heswall on the Wirral. The Runners Hub sells top branded running shoes, clothes and equipment as well as an integral coffee / juice bar, sports massage and running advice and organised runs from the shop. The Runners Hub is also the organiser of the Excalibur Trail marathon, half marathon and 10k race in North Wales every May. As well as the shop I am also a UK Athletics Endurance Running Coach and Captain of nearby Pensby Runners.
