A professional, senior and strategic manufacturing Operations Director who’s used to the rough and tumble of day-to-day events and not losing sight of the big picture. I’ve led large and diverse teams to buy into continuous improvement and change management - and created lean environments to improve efficiency, productivity and quality. I’ve applied these skills across the disciplines of the production, the supply chain, quality, Health and Safety, logistics and warehousing in the UK - and internationally in a joint venture in Abu Dhabi for 3 years. I’m thoroughly enjoying my role at Nenplas where there’s scope to further improve what are already impressive margins and quality compliance. While I was at Marshall Tufflex, we applied continuous improvement principles across all operational functions with sustainable and material improvements in OEE, recycled material usage and our ISO certifications. I like my job. I’m pleased to say I made some good choices early in my career. And being a Liverpool fan is the cherry on the cake.
