Hi, I'm Nigel, I believe I am a fairly well rounded person. I take pride in the fact I am self developed and will always do my best at everything I attempt. I am Interested in Science and Technology and also actively do Astro Photography when time and weather permits. I also code at home as well as tinkering with electronics projects, 3d printing and DIY. Some activities I have undertaken but not limited to include :-- Test and Measurement instrument automation (C#/VISA/VBA).- Automate test cases inline with current FCC and ETSI test standards (C#/VBA). - Automate results acquisition and reporting (C#).- Developed WSDL services to manage client transactions (C#/T-SQL).- Developed Mongo and T-SQL Back-ends- Developed PAYPAL shopping basket for commercial website.I have worked on a number a smaller projects such as web scrapers, test planners and sales build up tools. Previous to my software development life I was a Type Approval Radio test Manager/Engineer. I ran a radio laboratory for over 8 years and prior to that performed compliance testing. Test standards worked to but not limited to were for the most part FCC and ETSI radio standards. I have written radio test procedures, report templates and liaised with technical and regulatory standards bodies. I have also developed radio uncertainty budgets, written test reports, technically supported sales teams and trained radio test engineers.Past Experiences.Calibration engineer at EATON/COMTEST while studying for ONC/HNC.Laboratory engineer at REME supporting training of recruits.Test/R&D engineer at Sunthorn Electronics.
