I am an experienced fire officer with 25 yrs service specialising in risk management, incident command, hazardous materials management,environmental safety and management of people and stations. I am community minded both in work and in my private life being involved in many groups that go to make up my local community, I am former school governor and coach at Topsham RFC and fond supporter of the BRIDGE INN Topsham. I am well organised and self driven and now retired from the fire service I am looking for new challenges.I am the founder of Nigel Deasy Associates - Independant Fire Risk Assessors and associate Hazardous Materials trainer at Tactical Hazmat Ltd. I have worked at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as senior fire advisor from March 20 - Sept 22 and have now moved across to the University of Exeter to take up the senior fire safety advisor role,responsible for new and built premises, academic, residential, places of assembly, fire safety compliance across all sectors and staff and student fire safety training.
