I'm currently Operations Manager for Volunteer Service Abroad Te Tūao Tāwāhi. As an NGO in International Devlopment, I am fortunate and inspired to be working with and alongside communities in New Zealand and across the Pacific to address social challenges including poverty, gender inequality, access to education and climate change. Previously, I was CEO/General Manager of Bowls Wellington Inc., the governing body for the sport for the greater Wellington region. I have an extensive background in sport management and administration. Having lived and worked in Japan for 10 years as an educator and in sport management, I have strong communication and interpersonal skills and am able to foster and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders. Additionally, I am the treasurer and secretary on a number of body corporates and run a business with my partner. I enjoy the challenges of leading people and contributing to meaningful and sustainable change, running a profitable business and raising 2 young children.
