Technical Administrator for Saga Group Marketing Database team, assisting the project managers organise projects to ensure results are delivered in time, and manage workflows of the team of developers and testers.

Within my varied role with the business, I was predominantly overseeing the online marketing, organising and writing content for the company’s blogs and eNewsletters, in addition to the company’s social media pages (in my time at the firm the online footprint tripled in these areas). I carried out a review of the company’s processes and documents and brought them up to date to ensure the company was up to date and compliant with the latest regulatory requirements of the FCA, and other professional body/networks the company was a member of. I started the business on a path of engaging more with their client base, starting with rewriting their Customer Satisfaction Survey, which increased responses 4-fold.I implemented several processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and reduce costs including; how the company processed claims, and I oversaw a project redoing the full document suite, and assisted in getting new IT Security software implemented and trained out.I also interacted with clients, and answered queried, as well as processing transactions either on our quoting system, or via the Insurer’s portal.Whilst with the company I also attained several seminars, run by various professional bodies (ie CII/BIBA) to ensure continuous professional development.

During my time in the team I have dealt with queries from Insurers, agents, management and senior management. I compiled and reviewed MI reports for senior management, and produced reports to highlight, and made recommendations to assist with eliminating, or promoting trends (depending on whether or not it was a positive trend). I also carry out evaluations and monitor calls and policies on the operating systems used by the company. I have managerial experience within the team, running the team whilst the TM has been away from the business, and achieved high levels of success whilst doing this, ensuring that targets were not only met, but exceeded. This includes managing workloads, coaching other team members, arranging and chairing meeting, providing feedback on work carried out. Previously in my role I was solely responsible for auditing the underwriting schemes we used alongside our standard rates from insurers, using 'off-screen' informationto obtain fair rates for the customers. I ran training and coaching to promote these schemes. In my role I have also been responsible for liaising with Insurers carrying out audits on Direct Choice as a broker and their policies set up through Direct Choice. While in the team I have also been involved in setting up several successful projects and processes, including Claims, UAT, the Referral Team, TCF, Risk Monitoring, Script Updates and updating QA 'tools' and systems .

My initial role at Direct Choice/Taylor Price was as an Insurance Technician, processing sales, renewals, mid-term adjustments and dealing with queries from my colleagues, clients and Insurers regarding all of the above and also claims.
