2024 jan to march:Blender has a pretty steep learning curve and certainly takes perseverance to get past the basics but I feel that I’m really getting somewhere now and I’m beginning to produce models that are indistinguishable from real items, still plenty more to learn but so far so good.2023 to December Following a period of reflection post redundancy I will be retraining in 3D imagery and animation through the use of Blender, unreal engine and other associated modelling programmes.I will be offering my services, once I have reached a good level of competence, on an ad-hoc basis from mid to late 2024 1982-1992. Since leaving school I spent my first 10 years within direct sales and self employment before leaving work to raise my family. 1999-2004. I returned to the world of work after 7 years as a homemaker (single parent to my daughter) by managing and eventually owning a country pub/restaurant on the Lancashire /Yorkshire border. I decided eventually that the work/life balance of pub/restaurant ownership was not conducive to a growing family and decided to pursue a more corporate career.2005-2023. I Joined a large UK based holiday company in 2005 and worked in the Image department as an image editor and photography trainer, as the company grew my responsibilities within the image department grew and at the time of leaving (redundancy due to a company restructure which saw the image department transferred to Denmark) the company was the largest managed self catering business in Europe.I have had a rewarding and varied career to date and I am now seeking full,part time or freelance opportunities to put my various experiences to good use.
