The lead finance position for a Start-Up Division of Steljes supporting growth and developing strategic direction of business.Key successes:- Implementation of financial controls and reporting- Strategic review and restructure of business to return to profitability.- Restructuring of systems, improving a significant contract which resulted in an increase of GP from 40% to 70% and a 3-year extension to the contract.

The lead finance position of the multi-site Division reporting directly to Group Finance Director. Working closely with 3 Site Directors providing financial and commercial information to assist in decision making.

- Provided activity based costing input into year-end OFWAT reporting - Investigation and written commentary on movements against previous year whilst ensuring figures matched those in the statutory accounts.- Monthly sales analysis between regulated and non-regulated income.- Production of monthly P&L accounts, balance sheet and cash flow statement for the commercial businesses within Thames Water.- Included in project team involved in contract bid to supply MoD site with water services.
