I am a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, specialising in Non-Life Insurance. My firm, Pendulum Consulting Ltd, provides specialist actuarial advisory services for this industry.Having held senior actuarial executive positions in London and Zurich, my personal experience has covered a broad range of actuarial responsibilities: Capital Modelling, Asset-Liability Management, Reinsurance Optimisation, Large Account and Reinsurance Pricing, Reserving, and insurance business modelling for start-up or for acquisition.Most recently I have been involved in developing and applying Enterprise Risk Management software and solutions, with clients from the UK, other European countries, the US, the Middle East, and Asia. Within DFA Capital Management which I co-founded, as well as subsequently, I have provided advisory solutions to clients around applications of ERM models. These included Strategic Asset Allocation studies and supporting clients with their use of ERM software and Economic Scenario Generators.
