Full time IT Manager for a computer PCB repair company. Responsible for the IT Systems used by over 100 employees over multiple sites, I managed every aspect of the company's IT. This included designing and writing a tracking system that managed the complete PCB repair cycle process. The system I designed booked broken PCBs into the repair facilities keeping track of them and logging test / faults as they passed through various stages before eventually being returned to customers (IBM). I was also responsible for managing their ERP system (Tetra 2000), setting it up and rolling out new modules to most departments. I gained in-depth experience in stock control, bill of materials, general ledgers, payroll , sales, quotations. I had 5 full time people in my IT team. Working for someone else was a bit of a change for me after being self employed since leaving college. I decided to become an employee because I felt that I needed more experience in a broader range of IT disciplines. When I left this company they became one of my new customers.

The most notable of which were:-Dyfed County Fire Brigade: Design and implementation of a system that managed the turnout of fire engines and firemen to incidents. A ground breaking system featured in local newspapers.Norweigan Health Service: I designed and wrote software to help patients manage dietary disorders.Solar Sound & SBS: I created a teaching aid for students of all ages who wanted to learn a musical instrument. This software was entirely my idea and creation and was mostly written in assembly language for 6502 processors. The program played music from wave-tables, displayed the music and used a "Bouncing ball" to help the students learn their instrument. This software won awards and was featured on daytime TV and in the newspapers.I also designed and wrote software for the baking industry that helped bakery owners manage production and recipe costing.
