I have twenty years senior managerial experience in Production, Technical including Quality and three years as a Factory Manager and now EU Regional Technical Manager. During my time as a leader I have led and developed teams from 10 associates to 250 in both union and non unionised environments. I have also been seconded to McKinsey Consultancy to act as a catalyst of change through continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment while achieving cost reduction. This change has been achieved through developing World Class Manufacturing Excellence while developing and engaging a winning team. I have developed strategies from Blue Sky through OGSM to enable associate communication and commitmentI have good communication and interpersonal skills and during holidays and extended business trips I have covered both the Plymouth Factory Director and Regional Quality Manager positions on a frequent basis. I have provided leadership to a cross functional team and assisted in their development to ensure that the accountability of the department is met.Because of the improvements and attainment of new standards (FSSC22000 and PAS220) I was the guest speaker at the Lloyds Register (LRQA) Food Safety Management event at the Ricoh Arena in CoventrySpecialties: I am educated to MBA and launched many initiatives including lean. I am a Lean 6 Sigma Master Black Belt and lead the Quality Pillar which has been the most successful at Plymouth realizing cost reductions while improving quality and working cross functionally. I have worked with the teams to recommend and implement changes in methods, systems and organization to ensure that the objectives are met.
