I have been involved around the UK towbar and light trailer industry for the majority of his working life gathering a deep knowledge of the sector from both the manufacturing side, and from marketing and sales. Using this experience and knowledge in 2000 Nigel formed a training company (Towing Solutions Ltd) to provide a range of certificated training for towbar technicians, trailer service engineers and a specialist trailer driving courses. The company is the official training provider for the National Trailer & Towing Association and the assessors for the NTTA Qualtity Secured scheme (Leading trade body for the UK towing industry).In 2011 Nigel was awarded the sole agency for ECS Electronics BV, The Netherlands. Setting up the business of coordinating the distribution of dedicated vehicle specific towbar wiring kits throughout the UK & Ireland to clients in OE and the aftermarket. After a successful period of continuous sustained growth the turnover was increased to be a multi-million pound project that was well established in the UK towbar market.
