I began work for a contracting company, working underground at the British Gypsum mine at Barrow –On-Soar from 2001 until 2004, where I principally maintained and looked after the conveyor belts, as well as often sealing off disused roadways. After a long spell employed by UK Coal at Daw Mill Colliery, I returned to working at a Gypsum mine from August 2015 until mid December of that year.
