During this period I also project managed the design and development of the national Neighbourhood Policing Development Programme that required a collaborative approach with various partner agencies from policing and the public sector. Key Achievements• Led the development of management and leadership courses to nationally accredited standards through the Chartered Management Institute• Tutor at the national Police Leadership College, Bramshill• Course Director for the national Core Leadership Programme• Led the design and development of the national Neighbourhood Policing Development Programme using a blended learning approach• Designed and delivered the senior leadership programme for the Special Anti-crime Unit Trinidad & Tobago (SAUTT) • Increased the national take up of Leadership and Management programme by over a third, from 25 to 44 police forces (almost all the major forces in England and Wales)• Increased the number of people taking up the Core Leadership Development Programme by nearly 200% from 10,300 to over 30,000 students• Organised and hosted a national conference on Leadership and Learning for the police service

As Deputy Head of Training and Development for West Mercia Police I was responsible for the overall management of the Training and Development Department, which included probationer training, crime investigation training, management training and diversity training.
