Working with STEP5GROUP Limited The role is managing the delivery of Service Manager (SM) to BT, and Asset Manager (AM) to HP ES/Shell.The SM delivery included requirement specification, GAP analysis and configuration of the application, working with empowered BT resources in a Joint Application Development (JAD) environment. The solution was tested and deployed to BT within budget and timescale. Following an agreed support period, the application was fully handed over to BT. The successful deployment led to a second phase of work, deploying additional SM modules, further deployment of SM to a second BT site, and providing Web Access to BT’s customers. The AM delivery included supporting an HP Enterprise Services Manager in delivering the solution. The roles involved resource management and issue escalation within HP.

The application was the London Local Service Provider (LSP). Nigel led a Feasibility Study and Technical Proof of Concept (PoC) to integrate Health and Social Care applications. The bid involved review of the existing contractual arrangements and requirements. The review recommended an amended scope for LAS, which was defined in a Proposal with associated price model. Nigel managed stakeholders from LPfIT, LAS, BT and a Third Party Supplier in delivering the Proposal. The Proposal was used as part of major contract reset negotiations.

The application was the introduction of a Managed Output Service (MOS) for the ATLAS client. Nigel provided consultancy directly to DWP for production of an exception handling system, defining the Terms of Reference for the project and the deliverable specifications. These were agreed by senior DWP management. Nigel performed the quality assurance role for the Business representatives.
