    Still working for Be Wiser Insurance, I picked up additional responsibility to set up and fulfil the agency requirements for a new brand "Be Wiser Business" - negotiated all agency and scheme facilities for the launch of the new brand and then added additional facilities as needed during the initial growth period. - targeting SME, Property Owners, Small Fleet and Liability business, I was able to drive excellent results from a number of new and existing relationships. Specific successes achieved with RSA, NIG, Covea, Aviva and Commercial Express amongst others. - ultimately managing in excess of 40 individual agencies, my role involved everything from identifying and researching markets, initiating contact and setting up the agencies themselves. Thereafter, developing a business plan for growth, reviewing results daily, and targeting specific trades and lines of business with individual markets to deliver profitable growth for the insurers concerned. - used excellent organisational, business planning and leadership skills to maintain the growth of the accounts over an extended period which resulted in the Be Wiser Business Brand moving from a standing start to £10m GWP within 3 years. - my responsibility extended to sourcing, arranging and facilitating staff training for the new members of the team on all aspects of Commercial (SME) insurances, both product and non-product specific. - delivered a bespoke agency management system to track deals, schemes and performance v. targets, and to record activity with each market.
