Currently Global exploration and NV assurance and excellence with Nexen Previously the BG group expert geophysical interpreter and integrator (SME) that sees the big picture and what matters from an exploration appraisal or development perspective’ I have enjoyed 35 years planning, acquiring, processing but mostly interpreting seismic data; working on prospects and fields, drilling wells, presenting, reviewing or assuring opportunities in basins all over the world. Skilled and experienced in the utilisation of multiple structural and AVO attribute volumes in a 3D interpretation canvas to build and characterise static models (most recently for the the multi TCF Mzia and Jodari fields offshore Tanzania).Currently working in the BG/ Shell Tanzania Deep water transition team delivering the final 2 wells in the exploration programme.Significant experience in complex structural areas onshore and offshore (fold and thrust belts as well as extensional regimes) but particularly in salt provinces UKCNS UKSNS, Campos Basin Brazil West Africa and most recently GOM (Mexico license round). A staff mentor and interpretation workflow specialist, I have helped select design and improve the BG subsurface toolkit and workflows leading to significant improvements in efficiency and ultimately the confidence we have in our work. I have worked closely over the last 5-10 years with SIS to develop or improve interpretation workflows in GeoFrame/GeoViz and Petrel, particularly in the 3D canvas, and more recently with DGB/Dtect's new 3D interpretation workflows
