Developed a successful high-tech consulting company over 40 years. Now working pro-bono in the humanitarian sector and also investing in exploration, high-tech and property projects. Particular interest in further development of earth observation techniques through cloud computing, machine learning and AI as well as in satellite and terrestrial communications technology.

Founder And ChairmanNpa Satellite Mapping. 1971 - 2010Edenbridge, Kent, Uk.I founded NPA to develop my academic research in geoscience into the commercial arena. We pioneered many applications of satellite mapping on a global scale and developed several innovative techniques which are in routine use by exploration companies today. I sold NPA to Fugro in 2008, and they in turn sold the still growing business to CGG in 2012, just after our 40th anniversary. I am no longer directly involved in the business but maintain a keen interest and strong liason with my former colleagues.I remain connected with the earth observation community and am especially interested in the role of cloud computing, machine learning and AI in developing new applications both for commercial and humanitarian applications; in particular I want to promote further development of interferometric radar techniques. I am also involved in both terrestrial and satellite communications technology.
