Part of the Modernization Information Technology Services (MITS), End Users Equipment Services (EUES) New Hire/Refresh group supporting the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) at their New Carrollton Federal Building (NCFB) location. In charge of issuing new equipment to new contractors and federal employees. Also refreshing current employees with new equipment once their current laptop warranties expire. Transferring data files, backing up and restoring security certificates. Equipment includes new Hewlett-Packard desktops, laptops, docking stations, monitors, keyboards and mice. Installing baseline and above baseline software. Configuring and installing network and local printers. Updating and resolving employee incident troubleshooting tickets with Peregrine ServiceCenter Client and HP KISAM Service Manager Software.
