Having been at university briefly studying a BEng Mech engineering for 2 years to 1986.. I took a 'year' out but inadvertently got into plastic moulding! Starting at IBM Greenock, as a temp operator, I am now in the automotive industry and I am responsible for developing the new tooling, processing and introducing them to production. I deal with complex moulding projects and assembly cells. Currently SGI moulding (post injection foam expansion ) for BMW and recently developed all the new passenger airbag tools for our JLR customer. I am also experienced in multishot injection moulding with rotational platen, In Mould Decoration and so many various add-ins that come with industry.I am used to working within a team environment, through all the stages; from product concept through to product manufacture and then onto production implementation.Stop the press! @Nov employed at Strip Tinning Automotive. .
