I joined the American Cyanamid Company (becoming Cytec in the mid 90's) in 1978 as a Paper Sales Representative in the UK, moving to Holland in 1980 as a European Paper Technical Service Manager. I then moved in to general Product Management before being appointed European Water Treatment Product Manager in the mid 80's. Towards the end of the 80's I took on the role of Sales manager for the Middle East as well as moving back to the UK in 1989. The Iraqi invasion of Kuwait put an end to this roll and I moved in to Water Treatment Technical Sales, heading the Cyanamid (Cytec) push in to the UK Municipal Market.In 1995 I parted company with Cytec and joined SNF (UK) Ltd or OCI as it was then. During the last nineteen years I have mainly been involved with introduction of SNF polymers in to the municipal market in both sales and technical roles. I took over responsibility for technical support function within SNF around 2005 and for the last two years have been Technical Manager and a member of the SNF (UK) Ltd senior management team. In October of 2013 I was diagnosed with prostate cancer which, thankfully, is currently being controlled by hormone medication and in view of this I have decided to take early retirement and will end my career with SNF on the 31st December, 2014.It has been a joy and a pleasure being in the s**t for so long and I would like to take this opportunity to a say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped to make it such an enjoyable journey.If anyone would like to maintain contact my home email address is nsingleton6@tiscali.co.uk
