• Responsible for a team tasked with maintenance and enhancement of market data distribution platforms including OS support, application & vendor management, incident & problem management and capacity management of a.
• Addressing stability and capacity issues within the inherited environment, both tactically through innovative process distribution amongst available infrastructure and strategically though additional hardware – at all.
• Building process around a previously ad-hoc capacity management review, to gain a better understanding of environment hotspots – and initiated work to address before issues arise
• Introducing a spirit of continuous improvement within the team – with focus on realtime and snapshot environment monitoring, automation and efficiency – using custom scripting and enterprise tools
• Maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholder SDMs
