I am a conscientious and ambitious team member who enjoys a challenge and meeting people. My current job role involves the responsibility of managing the storage and distribution of frozen Doughnuts Mince pies and Bread to our customers and a third party coldstore. This includes customers Tesco, Asda, Morrison's and co-op. During holiday and sickness periods I stand in on other shifts to maintain the smooth running of the distribution department.I frequently attend meetings with the production teams and other departments to discuss any issues that could affect the distribution of stock. I am the section leader on my shift and have 5 staff under my responsibility, I'm totally involved in all aspects of the business from production to satisfying allcustomers demands. This includes the day to day running of my department and booking in pallets from production and ensuring precise distribution to the right locations in the coldstore. I compile orders for picking prior to being loaded on to vehicles.I am also responsible for filling in timesheets and keeping all staffs training records up to date, which requires accurate record keeping skills.I have licenses for reach trucks, counter balance and stand on EPT.
