Completed a postgrad MSc in Advanced MSK Physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University. I have worked in a wide range of physio settings & performance jobs including out-patient’s, professional sports teams, sports tours, orthopaedics & various areas of rehabilitation. Previous work also includes developing & leading clinical teams, support staff & performance programmes for private organisations, individuals & professional sports teams across a broad range of sectors including national & international sporting events & clinical settings. Passionate about quality MSK care & innovation & an interest in the evolution of MSK pathways in primary care. Having worked in a wide variety of posts with a diverse range of patients has helped me to develop a sound knowledge & ability in the assessment, treatment & management of a wide variety of acute, chronic, elective & trauma MSK, neuro-MSK, orthopaedic & neurological disorders in the physiotherapy setting. As well as a sound understanding of the demands & requirements of patients and services. Previous work with National, English & Scottish Prem League football teams, elite athletes & professional sports people in private practice has given me a large amount of experience in the management of sporting/musculoskeletal injuries in elite sports men & women. The last 15 years has also involved extensive work & experience with elite & professional athletes on the European PGA Tour across the world. Including being part of the physio team for Team Europe at 5 x Ryder cups and for Team GB Golf at the last 2 Olympic Games in Rio & Tokyo as well as the upcoming 2024 Paris games.Significant experience in the organisation & management of individuals & teams in major sporting events. It is the areas of MSK, integrated Multidisciplinary care, FCP, Elite Sport, Performance enhancement that is the main focus of my work & research over the last 18 years.Specialities: MSK physiotherapy & primary care.
