I am a senior project manager and program manager responsible for the planning and delivery of major infrastructure projects over 25 years in the water industry within Tasmania, interstate and overseas. Most recently I have been responsible for the delivery of concept and detailed designs for major water projects with values between $1M and $1B.For over 15 years I have held various team leadership roles guiding and mentoring multi-disciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes for clients and customers. Services provided have included planning, design, approvals, procurement, contract administration, and commissioning. I have been responsible for building teams and led strategic planning workshops to help define and implement team plans. This experience has demonstrated that successful project performance requires positive co-operation and respect from all team members with clearly defined roles and responsibilities. My work experience includes over 15 years employed as a consultant to water utilities and local government based in Tasmania and interstate and over 10 years for water utilities and government organisations. This provides me with a balanced perspective of the roles of both asset owners and service providers in successful collaborative partnerships.I am tertiary qualified with a Bachelor of Civil and Environmental Engineering (Honours) and have undertaken various courses in engineering, project management, contract management, and leadership.
