Rto Manager, Thales Ordnance Training Centre
Manager of an Australia wide RTO specialising in the manufacture, storage, transport, maintenance and disposal of explosives. My role involved ensuring the compliance of the RTO as well as the learning management of internal staff members, industry partners and overseas clients. During my time at the Thales Ordnance Training Centre (TOTC) I have been responsible for transitioning the RTO several times from the AQTF (2005) through to the current VQF. I have seen through the implementation of the Competency Completion Online System (CCOS), AVETMISS and the RTO satisfaction reporting requirements.In 2010 I led a project to conduct an industry analysis on the requirement for Vocational Graduate qualifications within our training package. This led to the development of both a Vocational Graduate Certificate and Vocational Graduate Diploma qualification. I have been part of two industry reviews of the 11 qualifications we have on scope with stakeholders from other areas of industry and the SSO.Following COVID I managed the transition of TOTC from a traditional teaching school to using full blended learning incorporating remote eLearning, On job experience and assessments conducted with-in the workplace across Australia.
