Nigel proudly works for Medtronic as the Western Australia Field Sales Manager for the Cardiac Rhythm & Heart Failure business. Nigel moved into this role after working as the WA Territory Manager for AF Solutions at Medtronic, having previously worked as a Cardiac Scientific Officer and specialised EP Tech, completing the Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Electrophysiology (CEPIA) in 2010. Having gained over 3 years experience in Cryoablation technology, Nigel has expanded his Medtronic portfolio to cover the CardioInsight Non-Invasive 3D Mapping technology, becoming the first trained Mapping Device Specialist for this technology in Australia and New Zealand. Nigel has been pivotal in the roll-out of this technology across multiple sites in ANZ and is leading the education front of this exciting new technology.Nigel has worked in a Cardiac Cath Lab environment for over a decade, previously providing haemodynamic monitoring for Angiogram, Angioplasty and TAVI along with the operating of equipment such as Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS), Optical Coherence Tomography (O.C.T.) and Fractional Flow Reserve (F.F.R.). Nigel is a clinically trained EP tech with experience in operating multiple EP monitoring systems and RF generators. After working in the role of A/Manager of Cardiac Scientific Services at Fremantle Hospital, Nigel was heavily involved in the planning and commissioning of Cardiology at Fiona Stanley Hospital before becoming the Manager of Cardiac Scientific Services at Fiona Stanley Hospital in January 2015. In this role Nigel managed a team of 10FTE working across 4 Cath Labs, 2 Hybrid Theatres and a non-invasive testing department.
