As Managing Director at Support on the spot, I'm responsible for the day to day running of the company and the growth.Not only was I responsible for sales and marketing with a great team of consultants, My key role was data centre design and implementation. Support on the spot provided a diverse range of IT and business services worldwide.With a long-standing client base, we are entrusted with being responsible for the SME sector and designing and implementing solutions for the recruitment sector. Within this role I was able to establish the business as a well trusted managed service provider.

Within this role I was responsible for the design and implementation of a private data centre to provide solutions based on BMC Software.Within this role I designed the internal network infrastructure using Watchguard X series firewalls to link multiples sites for collaboration. This included Active Directory design and the introduction of BMC patrol.The data centre solution was designed around HP server infrastructure and VMware solutions.

Remote and onsite support engineer.During this role I was able to take my skills learned and use the opportunity to grow those within a fantastic environment where learning and development was encouraged. I was responsible for attending customer sites and performing server installations and upgrades along with developing Remote Desktop service solutions within the professional sector.

Starting at the age of 17 I began offering basic Telephone Support contracts and onsite break fix solutions.I offered offsite backup solutions to hotels and professional services before online backups. I was trusted by some key clients to look after their key infrastructure and implement new solutions. Whilst working for Roland Long Advertising, I assisted in the design and implementation of a custom advertising space booking system used internally and this created a value add for some key clients. Other clients included Haines watts chartered accountants, Bahers Solicitors, and Peplows Chartered Accountants. All of my clients at the time including most hotels along the beach front played a key role in my development.This was using HP backup devices and DAT storage. This was during a period where troubleshooting was key toBreak fix and really honed the abilities I use in my current roles to work problems.
